File Data Locations

Twistpad requires a series of additional files to work properly.
This files can easily be edited by any user and conforms to the specification by Microsoft on where additional data files reside in the system.

The following folders are used:
"Documents and settings Folder"\All Users\application Data\Carthago\Twistpad :
Dictionaries, Plug-ins, Snippets, Syntax and Templates this will be shared by any user using the computer.

"Documents and settings Folder"\application Data\Carthago\Twistpad :
Main file configuration*, Macros, Recover and optionally Snippets and templates will reside here, and will be visible only to the current user.

In Windows XP and 2000 the "Documents and settings Folder" is usually "c:\Documents and Settings". But this might change in new versions of Windows.

Portable mode*

When running Twistpad in portable mode, All files are stored and accessed in the main folder of Twistpad.
